Strategic Sales Manager Coatings, Adhesives & Buildings (f/m/d)

Your responsibilities

  • You are responsible for the strategic development of our business in Coatings, Adhesives & Buildings in Central and Eastern Europe
  • Therefore, you create a strategic business plan to identify, acquire and develop potential markets, clients as well as suppliers together with our local sales teams in CEE
  • You build and promote strong, long-term customer relationships through intensive collaboration and understanding of our customer’s needs
  • Furthermore, you ensure the achievement of our growth and sales targets by successfully managing and regularly meeting with our local sales teams
  • You collaborate closely with our local Sales Directors, our Group Management as well as our Group HR for business and team management as well as development
  • This includes the presentation of our sales, revenue and cost reports in Coatings, Adhesives & Buildings as well as realistic forecasts to our Group Management
  • Additionally, you monitor the market to identify emerging markets and market changes including the analysis of new products and competitive status

Your profile

  • Ideally, you successfully finished your university degree with a focus on economics, chemistry or another relevant field of studies
  • Throughout your career, you have gained extensive experience with chemical raw materials in the Coatings, Adhesives & Buildings segment, preferably from a technical or sales perspective
  • Experience in technical leadership of intercultural teams is desirable
  • You are characterized by a strong customer and solution orientation as well as a high degree of initiative, reliability and commitment
  • Furthermore, you convince us and our stakeholders with your self-confident and serious demeanor as well as your high degree of empathy and adaptability
  • Additionally, you are a strong communicator in written and verbal English (ideally also proficient skills in German) with exceptional negotiation abilities
  • You are willing to travel, including to our offices in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE)
