Sales Director (f/m/d)

Your responsibilities

  • As our Sales Director (f/m/d) you significantly contribute to the development of our sales strategy and the corresponding objectives as well as the implementation of appropriate sales plans
  • To meet our annual sales targets, you constantly expand and maintain our long-lasting relationships with our customers and suppliers by understanding their business needs and objectives 
  • Additionally, you are responsible for managing, developing and motivating our sales team
  • Based on your great understanding of the category-specific landscapes and trends, you are assessing costs, competition, supply, and demand to identify growth potentials and strategically position HSH in the market 
  • You expand our Romanian portfolio, achieve new business growth and develop our distribution network by supervising the strategy of identifying customers as well as suppliers, negotiating contracts and implementing sales policies 
  • Thereby, you work closely with your sales team, our local management as well as our headquarter in Germany and frequently update them on the sales objectives and their achievements 

Your profile

  • You successfully finished your university degree with a focus on sales, marketing, business administration, food industry, industrial chemistry or another relevant field of study
  • In your professional career you demonstrated your strong experience in selling chemical raw materials leveraging your sound product knowledge and excellent negotiation skills 
  • Your capability to effectively communicate, motivate and positively influence your team as well as internal and external stakeholders in both, written and spoken English, is invaluable 
  • Additionally, you have strong experience in successfully leading teams as well as stakeholder relationships 
  • Your proven ability to drive the sales process from initial planning to successful closure is remarkable 
  • Ideally, you are experienced in different marketing techniques and best practices as well as effective project management 
  • Furthermore, you are open for travelling
