Successor as Managing Director (f/m/d)

Your responsibilities

• Develop and execute the company’s business strategies in order to attain the goals of the board and shareholders
• Prepare and implement business plans to facilitate achievement by maintaining budgets, monitoring costs, and planning market development activities
• Ensure the implementation of company’s policies and legal guidelines and act as a public relations representative of the company
• Direct and supervise the activities of the staff, delegate responsibilities, and provide guidance and motivation for employees and executives
• Communicate and maintain trustworthy relationships with shareholders, business partners, legal authorities, and the staff
• Oversee the company’s financial performance, investments, and other business ventures

Your profile

• Min. 5 years’ experience in a higher managerial position (e.g., top management)
• Bachelor's degree in business administration or another relevant field
• Experience in the chemical industry, especially with chemical raw materials
• Knowledge of market changes and forces that influence the company as well as experience in developing strategic and business plans
• Strong understanding of corporate finances and measures of performance
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
• Flexibility to travel (mostly within EU)
• Fluently in English (spoken and written); additional European language skills beneficiary
