Compliance Specialist (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities

  • Developing, implementing and/or monitoring an effective compliance program (including but not limited to Anti-Trust, Anti- Money Laundering (AML), Cyber Security, Due Diligence (DD), Health & Safety, Know Your Customer (KYC), Procurement, Risk Assessment, Staff Training, Whistleblowing)
  • Collaborate with external stakeholders (including but not limited to regulatory authorities, lawyers, auditors, insurers, financial institutions) and internal stakeholders (including but not limited to HR, IT, Finance/Accounting, Sales) as required
  • Preparation of declarations on customer request, REACH, RoSH, long-term supplier, etc.
  • Classification of basic chemicals/mixtures for the transport of dangerous goods (ADR), labelling
  • Responsible for the local ISO audit preparation and the internal audit
  • Implement, manage and interpret compliance policies, procedures and practices
  • Develop, implement, and coordinate awareness, education and training programs
  • Perform compliance risk assessments, trend analyses and provide and implement best practices recommendations
  • Communicate and collaborate closely with the Group Compliance Knowledge Hub
  • Keep abreast of standards and regulatory changes to ensure conformity of the business

Your profile

  • Degree in Chemical Engineering, Business Administration, Law or a related field
  • Work experience in Compliance as a Compliance Specialist or Compliance Manager
  • Knowledge of legal requirements and controls (including but not limited to AML, DD, KYC)
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Fluently in English (spoken and written)
  • Willingness for occasional travel to our focus group meetings or other relevant meetings
