Bookkeeper (f/m/d)

Your responsibilities

  • Booking of outgoing invoices, preparation of the weekly open items list, adjustment of open items as well as master data maintenance in accounts receivable accounting
  • Checking and posting of incoming invoices (national & international), checking as well as the execution of payment runs, the processing of incoming reminders, adjustment of open items as well as master data maintenance in the area of accounts payable accounting.
  • Posting of banks, maintenance of fixed asset accounting, posting of travel expenses and credit cards, reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, posting of payrolls along with various accounting transactions (accruals, transfers and deferrals as well as the preparatory activities for monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in general ledger accounting
  • Supporting in sales tax return as well as the reporting of monthly customer balances to the trade credit insurance in a representative role
  • Preparing statistical reports as well as helping to prepare data for the annual audit and various financial reports.
  • Supporting the Finance Manager in all relevant topics

Your profile

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
  • Previous experience in related field (financial accounting)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Detail oriented, independent, and precise way of working as well as a strong hands-on mentality.
  • Strong initiative, affinity for numbers
  • Previous knowledge of the financial software Sage or another ERP for distribution activities would be an advantage
